Until you practice a lot, you just can't learn something. Photoshop is much more complex than you think.
Keep practicing and you will see the results.
Everyone can do photoshopClosely follow some photoshop tutorials, and after a couple you will learn new tools which will help you develop your own ideas!
Not that doing things that way works for everyone, me myself I generally prefer to just mess around with things myself until I get the hang of it, but tutorials is a nice way to go if you're not feeling too confident, as most give you guidance by the click!

Once you grab the basics, then it is easy to use, although I think it would take years and years if almost impossible to reach the limits of what Photoshop can do in its entirety.Originally Posted by Alex

It would be good idea to maybe build a dedicated tutorial system where we can offer tutorials to eachother, with facilities to rate and index tutorials into relevant groups and easy-to-search categories.
Maybe it could branch off to www.talkmaster.net/tutorials or tutorials.talkmaster.net ?
